Notes

  • Marc Alaimo plays his final TNG character here as the poker player Frederick La Rouque.  The next time he appears in Star Trek is in the DS9 pilot “Emissary” as Gul Dukat.
  • Jerry Hardin plays Samuel Clements. He was also in the TNG episode “When the Bough Breaks” as Radue, and a Star Trek Voyager episode “Emanations” as Dr. Neria.
  • The severed Data head prop was last used as the severed head of a Borg drone in the Voyager episode “Unamatrix Zero“.
  • Officially, this is Part 1 of 2, but like most of the others, it doesn’t have a “Part 1” in the title officially.
  • One of the rare instances of the Enterprise being recalled to Earth.
