DS9 Overall: Episode 15
Trek Overall: Story 283, Episode 295
Airdate: 10 May 1993
Written by Peter Allan Fields
Directed by Les Landau

Notes

  • The plot of this one was quite similar to that of the TNG episode “The Ensigns of Command“.
  • One of the rare times we’re reminded that Kira is not the character’s first name but her surname – her first name is Nerys.
  • The Deep Space Nine novel Warchild has the character of Mullibok return with a message for Kira about her actions in this episode.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Deep Space Nine Ep 15 - Progress - 10 May 1993 2/2 has some good acting by Nana Visitor. I didn't mind the Nog part of this either. The two stories never merge. No traditional action; a very talk-y episode, but it all works. The earliest of many very strong Kira eps.
