Notes

  • A loose sequel to the TNG episode “Journey’s End“, which aired in real time about a month before this.
  • Rule of Acquisition Mentioned – #214: “Never begin a negotiation on an empty stomach”.
  • The Maquis settlement uses the same matte painting that was in TNG’s “The Ensigns of Command“.
  • Sakonna is played by Bertila Damas.  She was also Marika Wilkarah in Voyager’s “Survival Instinct“.  She also appeared in two episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine as Amy Santiago’s mother Camila.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Deep Space Nine Ep 40 - The Maquis Pt I - 25 Apr 1994 2/2 disgruntled Federation officers. They're rebelling against having their homeland ceded to the Cardassians in a land deal. Both sides see 'em as traitors/terrorists. Some good character stuff due to the conflict.
