- The last episode where Sisko is referred to as Commander, as he’s promoted in the next one.
- When Odo is Curzon, he requests Tranya, the drink from the TOS episode “The Corbomite Maneuver“.
- The last episode of the series to be directed by Cliff Bole. He did also direct ten episodes of Star Trek Voyager as well.

- There’s a reference to events of the TNG episode “The Royale” when one of Jadzia’s old hosts (Tobin) was said to work on an unsolved problem mentioned in that episode.
- A padd O’Brien is holding is said to say “Go Away” – this is the same prop used in the episode “Explorers” when Bashir was flirting with Leeta.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Deep Space Nine Ep 71 - Facets - 29 May 1995 3/3 There's also a lesser talked about GREAT moment where Rom finally stands up to Quark and yells "If you ever do anything to hurt my son again, I will burn the bar to the ground" after throwing him against a wall. Loved it!!
