Notes
- Running fired torpedo count: 19 / Confirmed crew deaths since pilot: 13 (crew of 141).
- The first of four Voyager episodes directed by Anson Williams – who is well known as Potsie on the TV series “Happy Days“. He also directed two DS9 episodes as well.
- There is a loose reference to the events of the episode “Darkling” here.
- It is said that the Klingon weapon kut’luch is intended for a Klingon rite of passage ceremony. That contradicts the TNG episode “Sins of the Father” which says it’s an assassin’s weapon.
- Lindsey Haun plays Belle in this episode. She was also Beatrice Burleigh in the Voyager episodes “Learning Curve” and “Persistence of Vision“.
- Events of this episode (and the Doctor’s feelings about this episode) were followed up on several decades down the line in the 2026 episode of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy “The Life of the Stars“.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Voyager Ep 65 - Real Life - 23 Apr 1997 2/2 program. Things go quite awry, eventually leading to the death of one of the Doctor's "kids". A good character dev ep for the Doctor - well done. Events from this ep are followed up on in a Starfleet Academy episode in 2026!
