- The first regular story for Sophie Aldred as Ace.
- The last regular story for Bonnie Langford as Mel. Mel does reappear several decades down the line in the 2022 episode “The Power of the Doctor“, the 2023 episode “The Giggle“, and the 2024 episodes “The Legend of Ruby Sunday” & “Empire of Death“.
- The last story for Tony Selby as Sabalom Glitz, although his character’s future history is talked about in the 2023 episode “The Giggle“.
