• This is “canonically” the third prequel to the Series 7 story “The Snowmen“, while also acting as a coda to “A Good Man Goes to War“.
• Oddly It was released as a prequel to “The Bells of St. John” (5 days before that episode), despite having nothing to do with that story.
• It was later released on the Series 7 Complete Set Blu-Ray.
• This exists to show how Strax survived “A Good Man Goes to War”, as he was shown to be dead in that story.
