Notes

  • This is the last filmed story for Karen Gillan & Arthur Darvill.  Karen makes a cameo in Matt Smith’s last episode, but this is it for Arthur.  They do have one aired story left after this due to production order.
  • The actor that plays the Shakri interface system is Steven Berkhoff.  I know him well as the primary Russian bad guy in the James Bond film “Octopussy”.
  • Non canon material aside, this is the first appearance on screen of Jemma Redgrave as Kate Lethbridge-Stewart, the new head of UNIT, and the daughter of the Brigadier.
