Meltdown

This Story: Season 4, Episode 6
Overall: Story 24, Episode 24
Airdate: 21 Mar 1991
Written by Rob Grant & Doug Naylor
Directed by Ed Bye

Notes

  • This was the first episode that showed us the “light bee” that is inside Rimmer and generates his hologram.
  • The closing credits are altered again – this time the Red Dwarf theme is sung by Elvis.

#RedDwarfMarathon Ep 24 - Meltdown - 21 Mar 1991 S4 ends with one of the few eps I don't care for. Rimmer goes nuts when he gets control over historical waxwork figures. There's a few individual funny lines, but overall the ep doesn't work for me. Ghandi jokes are funny tho.
