- The actress Margaret Rose plays K’Par Rinn in this episode. She was also Eline, Picard’s “wife” in his other life in TNG’s “The Inner Light“. Both episodes share a similar premise of living a life mentally in a matter of a very short time.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Deep Space Nine Ep 91 - Hard Time - 15 Apr 1996 2/2 life of a man who was in a prison for 20yrs (to him), but in reality only a VERY short time. The only part of this that bugs me is that given how hard it was for him to re-adjust, it's all forgotten about next week.
