Notes
- A direct sequel to the episode “Second Skin“.
- Features the return of Jeffrey Combs as Weyoun – more specifically Weyoun 5. It is here that it’s established that they’re all clones of each other basically making the character immortal.
- The first time Nana Visitor wore the standard Kira uniform since she became pregnant in real life nearly a year prior.
- Thomas Kopache plays Taban in this episode. He’s played six other characters in six other appearances spread out over TNG, Voyager, Enterprise, & the Generations movie.
- The seventh of nine episodes that Avery Brooks would direct on DS9. The next one is by far the best one he did – not even close.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Deep Space Nine Ep 117 - Ties of Blood & Water - 14 Apr 1997 2/2 more focused on Kira, but that's good as Nana always brings it in these kinds of episodes. Has some nice flashbacks to Kira's own father and her emotions relative to that. Loved that Weyoun returns here.
