This Story: Season 2 Episode 10 (production code 210)
B7 Overall: Episode 23
Airdate: 13 Mar 1979 (7:20PM UK time)
Duration: 48:36
Filming Dates: 23-24 Nov 1978, 1-3 Feb 1979
Written by Roger Parkes

Notes

  • The character of Glynd appeared in the pilot episode of Blake’s 7, but then was played by Robert James.  James was unavailable, so they recast to be Richard Bebb.
  • Events from the pilot episode are referenced here as are events from the episode “Orac“.
  • This episode deals with Blake’s past.  To that, Chris Boucher had certain aspects of this from the pilot excised – specifically child molestation charges.  It was felt this was in bad taste.
  • Star One is mentioned again in this episode.

#B7Marathon #Blakes7 Blake's 7 Ep 23 - "Voice From the Past" - 13 Mar 1979 2/2 Servalan & a disguised Travis. I did like seeing more attempts by Cally to care for the crew's mental health. Travis was a bit out of character here. Overall I didn't care for this ep, felt like we'd done this before.
