Notes

  • Running fired torpedo count: 1
  • A working title for this episode was “Merrek”.
  • The Doctor & Kes do not appear in this episode.
  • The first time Tuvok performs a Vulcan neck pinch – as himself.
  • Several things from this ep were re-uses from others. Janeway’s scanner was a micro-resonator in “Learning Curve”. Two doors in the marketplace were in “Ex Post Facto”, a pen was used before in TNG’s “Angel One”, some artwork was also used in TNG’s “The High Ground” and Enterprise’s “Broken Bow“. There was more than this, but I thought that was enough. :)
  • It worked the other way too as the Mokra Order soliders’ costumes were used elsewhere – in the Voyager episodes “Nemesis“, “Relativity“, “Canamar“, & “Demons“.  Additionally on the Enterprise episode “Damage“.
  • Alan Scarfe plays Augris here.  He played two separate Romulans in TNG’s “Data’s Day” (Mendak) & TNG’s “Birthright Part II” (Tokath).
  • Glenn Morshower plays a Mokra guard here.  He was also Burke in TNG’s “Peak Performance“, Orton in TNG’s “Starship Mine“, the Enterprise-B navigator in Star Trek Generations, & MacReady in Enterprise’s “North Star“.
  • The main guest star is Joel Grey.  He plays Calem here.  This is his only Star Trek appearance, but he’s a well known actor in a metric ton of things. However, I know him best from his appearance in the finale of the TV series Dallas as a demon who tries to get JR Ewing to kill himself.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Voyager Ep 28 - Resistance - 27 Nov 1995 1/2 An ep I didn't remember - especially the ending. It's a different feel - the crew is on an undercover mission. Tuvok & Torres get captured, which gives us some rare scenes with those two. Janeway is also there, and works from

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Voyager Ep 28 - Resistance - 27 Nov 1995 2/2 the inside to rescue them. Not the greatest ep, but I did love giving some of the characters different stuff to do. Which included Janeway acting like a hooker - a funny scene. Also had Joel Grey who I like from elsewhere.

Joel Grey & Larry Hagman in the series finale of “Dallas” (Conundrum – 1991).
My prior physical copies of Star Trek: Voyager looked this way.
