• The third of 10 episodes directed by Voyager’s Roxann Dawson.
• Zshaar was played by Brad Greenquist.  He was also Krit in DS9’s “Who Mourns for Morn?“, Demmas in VOyager’s “Warlord“, & a Rigelian kidnapper in the episode “Affliction“.
• Zho’Kaan was played by Gregg Henry.  He was Gallatin in Star Trek: Insurrection.
• The planet “Matalas Prime” is referenced – fairly positive this was a reference to Terry Matalas, who at this time was a writer on this series.  He went on to line produce Star Trek Picard’s third season.
