- In the original script, this was intended to show origins of the Orion species.
- This has nothing to do with the Star Trek Discovery episode of the same name (“Anomaly“).
- The first appearance of a brig on Enterprise – one of the new (in universe) upgrades in the Season 2 finale.
- The old Tommy Tutone song “867-5309/Jenny” makes an appearance here on the view screen as an easter egg.
- The first of four appearances by Sean McGowen as Hawkins (one of the MACOs).
- I believe the first time we get a POV camera shot from on top of the large device in the center of engineering.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Enterprise Episode 54 - Anomaly - 17 Sep 2003 2/2 stuff back or we're buggered. The way out was something intersting, and reminded me of TNG's Dyson's Sphere. Ended up really liking this. It had a dark turn for Archer when he almost killed someone for information.
