Notes

• The episode to be filmed in 2004 (starting on 5 Jan).
• The first (and to date only) episode with USS Enterprise NCC-1701-J in it, although we never get a good, clear view of the ship.
• Footage of damage to Enterprise is reused from multiple prior episodes.
• Speaking of that, the damage done to Enterprise here isn’t properly repaired until the fourth season episode “Borderland” (10 episodes from now).
• The fifth of eight appearances of Matt Winston as Daniels.
• The seventh of ten appearances of Randy Oglesby as Degra.
• The fourth of eight appearances of Scott MacDoland as Dolim.
• The fourth of eight appearances of Tucker Smallwood as the Xindi-Primate councilor.
• The fourth of ten appearances of Rick Worthy as Jannar.
• Christopher Goodman plays Degra’s assistant Thalen here.  The character appeared in two prior episodes (Proving Ground & Stratagem), but he was played by Josh Drennen there.
• While not officially a Part I of II, it certainly ends like it is one, leading into the next.
