Notes
- A loose sequel to the episode “The Big Goodbye“.
- Wesley Crusher does not appear in this episode.
- A deleted scene would have explained the reason why a piece of paper from the holodeck is brought out and doesn’t dissolve.
- Legal disputes over the use of the character by the Doyle estate prevented sequels to this episode until several seasons later.
- Picard says “merde” in the episode, which is French for the English word “shit”.

too powerful and threatens the Enterprise itself. This ep is well written, well acted, and one of the better ones that features Pulaski. Legal issues prevented a sequel until the 6th season, tho. pic.twitter.com/9hvfM87hyN
