Notes
- This is the fifth of six episodes that comprise a story arc about the war and the station being controlled by the Dominion/Dukat. While not an actual six part story, it is fairly tightly bound together and from the DS9 companion book, they were all created together, then the writers went off and wrote their episodes. The fifth and sixth parts are a two parter, however.
- The title of this episode would show up again in Star Trek Enterprise as the motto of the NX-02 – the USS Columbia.
- Sisko’s mask from “The Search” can be seen in his office here.
- Nog gets formerly promoted to Ensign in this episode.
- Sisko states that he wants to build a home on Bajor, the first time he’s openly shown his love for the planet in this way.
