Notes

  • This is the halfway point of the series being episode 89 overall, and there’s 178 episodes total for TNG.
  • One guest star in this episode is Bebe Neuwirth, who is rather famous for playing Lilith on Cheers & Frasier.  Supposedly, the role she plays was created specifically for her.
  • Geordi does not appear in this episode.
  • The same guy who submitted the story for this one did for the excellent Deep Space Nine episode “Far Beyond the Stars“.
  • Briefly references the events of the episode “Family” when Picard’s brother gave him a bottle of wine.
