Notes

• The possibility of Geordi losing the visor was broached here.  It was largely forgotten about after this, but was brought up in the series finale as well as the movie “Star Trek Insurrection”.  These events have events manifested similar to what Dr Pulaski describes here.
• Riva and peace treaties behind the Federation and the Klingons was an attempt to set up a story as to how they became friendly.  However, this was superseded with the events of the episode “Yesterday’s Enterprise“.
• Colm Meaney appears again as O’Brien in the transporter room – but still no name for his character yet.
