- This is a two part episode, “Pete Parts 1 & 2”.
- Personal Note: The sequence in Part 2 where Hollister does his speech about “do you know what happens to a Dinosaur when it eats….” is my wife’s favorite Red Dwarf joke in the entire series.
- Pete Part 2 is the last episode of Red Dwarf written (either in full or in part) by anyone else other than Doug Naylor. From the next episode onwards (Only The Good…), every single episode is written by Doug Naylor (as of Spring 2024).

Pt 2 isn't as good as Pt 1 - Kryten's penis joke isn't too funny. In fact, most of the stuff in Pt 2 is kind of "meh". They reset the dino, but not b4 it lays an egg, and the baby dino is just ignored, no resolution. pic.twitter.com/wR454D9Q5a
