Queeg

This Story: Season 2, Episode 5
Overall: Story 11, Episode 11
Airdate: 4 Oct 1988
Written by Rob Grant & Doug Naylor
Directed by Ed Bye

Notes

  • There is a remastered version of this episode, but I will be using the original version.
  • Holly’s “Additional”: Our biggest enemy is going space crazy through loneliness.  The only thing that helps me maintain my slender grip on reality is the friendship I share with my collection of singing potatoes.
  • Queeg is played by Charles Augins, who is a professional choreographer.  He did the choreography for the following episode, “Parallel Universe” as well as some dance routines in later series, too.

#RedDwarfMarathon Ep 11 - Queeg - 4 Oct 1988 2/2 incompetent. He is "replaced" by the backup computer - Queeg, who busts their stones big time. Rimmer impersonating the rest of the crew is a riot. THE most quotable episode of the series. "April, May, June, July, & August Fool".
