Notes

• The version that aired on the BBC contained a dedication to Wiliam Russell, who had died five days previous.  This dedication is not on the Disney+ version.
• The woman who played the Duchess of Pemberton (Indira Varma) had been in the Doctor Who universe before – playing “Suzie” in a couple of episodes of Torchwood.
• This contains something I love in Doctor Who – the flashback of all the prior Doctors.  We got that here, but in addition to the standard “numbered” Doctors, we also got John Hurt’s War Doctor, Jo Martin’s Fugitive Doctor, both incarnations of David Tennant, and most shockingly Richard E Grant, which appears to canonize the previously non-canon “Scream of the Shalka” animation from 2003.
