Notes

• Has Andreas Katzulas (B5’s G’Kar) as the Romulan Tomalak.  The character would appear in three other episodes.
• The footage of the probe was reused from “Where Silence Has Lease“.
• The first episode directed by David Carson, who would go on to direct many more episodes of TNG as well as DS9 and the movie “Star Trek: Generations”.
• Steve Rankin who played Patahk went on to play several other characters.  He was a Klingon in DS9’s “Invasive Procedures“. He was a Cardassian in DS9’s “Emissary“, and Colonel Green in ENT’s “Demons“.
