Notes
- Wesley does not appear in this episode.
- The working title for this episode was “Send in the Clones”. That line is uttered in the episode.
- Just after arriving on Mariposa, Dr. Pulaski notices a sculpture holding a large sphere reminiscent of the receptacles from the TOS episode “Return to Tomorrow”, which also featured Diana Muldaur.
- According to the author, the story was intended to be a commentary about immigration, due to the xenophobic nature of some aspects of American culture.
- In the original version of this episode, one of the missions listed on a view screen in the meeting room was “Diplomatic mission to Alderaan” (Star Wars). This was changed to Aldeberan in the remastered version.
- There’s a music queue at 32:35 of the episode that sounds EXACTLY like a similar piece of background music used in the original series.
- The woman who plays Breanna was Rosalyn Land. She’s done a bunch of modern Big Finish Doctor Who audios. A list is on her IMDB page.
