Village of the Angels
Flux: Village of the Angels
This Story: Series 13 Story 1d. Production code 13.3
Overall: Story 297d, Episode 872
Airdate: 21 Nov 2021
Written by Chris Chibnall & Maxine Alderton
Directed by Jamie Magnus Stone
Notes
- The fourth episode of “Flux” (Series 13). The entire series is just six episodes long and is a single connected story.
- Kevin McNally (Professor Jericho) in this episode had been in Doctor Who before. He was in Colin Baker’s first story, “The Twin Dilemma” as Hugo Lang.
- This story has a mid credit scene – which is very unusual for Doctor Who. It’s all about Vinder & Bel, who are very much a back story in Flux.
- I wrote a lengthy review of this episode for the website “The Doctor Who Companion” when it as brand new. You can read that here.

Easily the best of the 6 Flux eps. Has the best cliffhanger - at the end, the Doctor turns into an Angel - which was VERY well done. Love that they did something new with the pic.twitter.com/VYC5z6qHGO
