This was such a good Dalek story, I wish they had left "of the Daleks" out of the title, so the reveal could be a surprise. The Doctor & Peri are completely on their own pic.twitter.com/2PxXJduyae

for the 1st ep, don't meet any major characters till fully halfway through story. Also Colin is dressed in a blue coat as the script editor hated Colin's outfit. What I pic.twitter.com/rdLxVZl1wS

really like here is Davros & the Daleks are doing something different - it's not just the same old Terry Nation style Dalek plot lines, I enjoyed the new concepts. pic.twitter.com/GVZ7v8TZW4

The Daleks are more involved in the story, as is the Doctor. One of the locals wants Davros extricated from Tranquil Repose, & contacts the Imperial Daleks, who arrive to pic.twitter.com/yk8rCs7dPP

take Davros and his Daleks. That's mostly the drama in this excellent ep. I loved the fun with the DJ and Peri. Ocini & Bostok are a joy in this story. Wished for more. pic.twitter.com/j1aoMOKFLr

Davros gets his hand shot off, & is the reason why in all modern Who stories he has a metal hand. This is the last ep before the "hiatus" of 85/86, a sad time in fandom. pic.twitter.com/Z86BraL1Ov
