- There was a prequel to this episode which shows just the Tardis and no people except for a non speaking Doctor for about 20 seconds. It’s just audio of Amy leaving a message on the Tardis’ answering machine about finding her baby Melody.
- This is the first episode of Doctor Who that shows a female Time Lord regeneration – in full.
