Beyond the Farthest Star

This Story: Season 1 Episode 1 (production code 1.4)
TAS Overall: Episode 1
Trek Overall: Story 80, Episode 81
Airdate: 8 Sep 1973
Written by Samuel A. Peeples

Notes

  • The first episode of any Star Trek series I remember watching on my own.
  • This episode is the only use of the “automatic bridge defense system”.  It was never seen in any other incarnation of Star Trek again.
