Notes

  • We get some background to Riker’s youth here about his parents, and his father shows up in the next episode.
  • This was supposed to have Q as the main “bad guy”, but Gene Roddenberry said no.
  • Wesley does not appear in this episode.
  • The first time the Enterprise is shown to have been destroyed on screen.  The other times are in the episode “Cause and Effect” and the movie “Star Trek: Generations”.
  • There’s a loose reference back to Kirk’s time travel trick from “Tomorrow is Yesterday“.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek TNG Ep 39 - Time Squared - 3 Apr 1989 2/2 in the shuttle, finding a way out of the time loop. While I remembered this story generally, I forgot the path of how they resolved it, so it was fun to enjoy it again. The entire story takes place in six hours. Enjoyed it a lot.
