Notes
- This episode (Part II) has “Part II” in the title, whereas Part I did not, and was simply “Time’s Arrow”.
- Star Trek Deep Space Nine’s pilot “Emissary” was filmed at the same time as this episode.
- All the scenes where Dr Crusher is in her nurse’s outfit uses Gates McFadden’s real hair vs the wig she normally wears.
- The reporter is played by Alexander Enberg, the real life son of producer Jeri Taylor. He also played the character of Taurik in the episode “Lower Decks“, and the recurring character of Vorik on Star Trek: Voyager.
- This episode shows the original meeting between Picard & Guinan, and follows up on references made to this event in both the episodes “Booby Trap” & “Ensign Ro“.
- Part II won two Emmy Awards. They were ‘Outstanding Individual Achievement in Costume Design for a Series’ & ‘Outstanding Individual Achievement in Hairstyling for a Series’. It was also nominated for a third, but didn’t win – ‘Outstanding Individual Achievement in Sound Editing for a Series’.

Watching the crew exist in the 1890's is fun - especially Picard schmoozing a landlord. Liked the performance of Clemens here. This

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek TNG Ep 127 - Time's Arrow Pt II - 21 Sep 1992 2/2 ep establishes the original meeting behind Picard & Guinan and why they're close friends. Even the sci-fi stuff felt clearer than part I which was more muddled. Riker's a bit trigger happy here. Overall, an excellent ep.
