Notes

• Running Decon Gel Scene Appearances: T’Pol (2), Trip (2), Hoshi (1), Malcolm (1). No scene this episode.
• The plot has a similar structure to DS9’s “Shadowplay” – with the two characters there being Odo & Dax.
• The events of the episode “Unexpected” are referenced here.
• Ezral is played bye Rene Auberjonois – who is well known as Odo from Deep Space Nine.  He was also Col West from Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.
• D’Marr was played by Tom Bergeron.  He was also a Coridanite ambassador in “Demons“.
• Kuulan was played by Rudolph Willrich.  He was also Grax in TNG’s “Menage a Troi” and a Bolian in DS9’s “Paradise Lost“.
• Liana was played by Annie Wersching.  She was also the Borg Queen in Season 2 of Star Trek: Picard.  From what I can gather, there was some consideration to making Liana be the Borg Queen pre-assimilation, but that idea was abandoned.
