- The surface of the Starbase 515 planet is the reused matte painting of Angel 1 from “Angel One“.
- The chat between Picard & Wesley is followed up on much later in the episode “Tapestry” where we see events from the chat spelled out on screen relative to Picard’s replacement heart.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek TNG Ep 43 - Samaritan Snare - 15 May 1989 2/2 to "fix our ship". There's B & C plots about Picard needing an operation & Wesley going for Starfleet tests. There's some good dialogue between Wes & Picard in shuttle. Pakleds brought back in Lower Decks. Ep is just "ok".
