- Wesley & Geordi do not appear in this episode. Data does but doesn’t say anything.
- An Andorian appears in this episode. It is the last time we will see an Andorian in ANY Star Trek incarnation until the 2001 episode “The Andorian Incident” on Star Trek Enterprise, 11 years later.
- The first of three episodes with Jennifer Hetrick as Vash. The others are TNG’s “Qpid” and DS9’s “Q-Less“.
- Max Grodénchik here plays the Ferengi Sovak. He later will go on to play Rom on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
- Deirdre Imershein plays Joval in this episode. She will later play Whatley in the DS9 episode “Trials & Tribbleations“. I also know her fairly well from the final season of Dallas, which aired roughly a year after this episode of TNG.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek TNG Ep 67 - Captain's Holiday - 2 Apr 1990 2/2 a woman who crops up a few more times later. A Ferengi here is played by Max Grodénchik (later DS9's Rom). It's SUPER Picard heavy - rest of crew barely in it. Fun to see Picard do something different for a change.
