Notes
- The first Season 3 episode of Picard directed by Jonathan Frakes. He has a substantial role as Riker in this episode. He’s directed a ton of TV by now, he’s old hat at it by this point. :)
- While Star Trek: Nemesis established that Riker became the captain of the USS Titan, we never saw it in canonical on screen Star Trek until now.
- While not seen, Odo is referenced by Worf in this episode.
- Seven’s quarters contains a model of the USS Voyager.
- Marina Sirtis’ first appearance in Series 3 (as Deanna Troi, of course).
- One of Dr. Crusher’s assistants in this episode is a Trill. Doesn’t seem to mean anything, I just liked seeing the race again.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Picard Ep 23 - Seventeen Seconds - 2 Mar 2023 2/2 scene with Picard & Bev talking about Jack. Vadic's portal weapon is awesome. Surprise reintroduction of the changelings from DS9 (w/ some post Dominion War background). Picard is a bit jerk-ish in this ep. Excellent ep.
