- This episode is a loose sequel to the TNG episodes “Captain’s Holiday” & “QPid“.
- The second episode in a row that Cirroc Lofton (Jake) did not appear.
- When Q appears for the first time on Voyager, he’s wearing the same uniform as he does here.
- One of the rare times that Sisko says the word “Picard”.
