Notes

• Events from these previous episodes were mentioned: “Blink“, “The Church on Ruby Road“, “The  Devil’s Chord“, & “Boom“.
• Mr. Ring-A-Ding was voiced by Alan Cumming who was in the episode “The Witchfinders” as King James I.
• Galaxy Quest apparently exists in the universe as it’s referenced in the episode. This shouldn’t be a huge surprise, as the Fifteenth Doctor has said they exist, too.
• The newsreel at the start of the episode is apparently real – it was issued on 5 Jan 1952.  The voice was re-dubbed, however.
• The props in the fan’s room watching Doctor Who are made up of all kinds of real and made up things.  One of my favorites are the Classic Who Blu-Ray sets that have been released over the last several years or so.
• The movie projection room has the same poster for “Rocket to Venus” that was seen in “The Robot Revolution“.
