Notes
- The third of five DS9 episodes set in the mirror universe – all of which of course are sequels to the original TOS episode “Mirror Mirror“.
- The final episode for Felicia Bell as Jennifer Sisko (either mirror or otherwise) in the series.
- The first episode with “Mirror Worf”.
- The third DS9 crossover, the third Ferengi to die (Nog). Quark & Rom died in prior installments.
- The only time Jake is in a mirror episode, as it was said here that Jake was never born in the mirror universe.
- One of the statues in the Commander’s office on Terek Nor was seen previously in “Gambit Part II“.
- James L. Conway later directed the excellent Enterprise episode “In a Mirror, Darkly” – also set in the mirror universe.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Deep Space Nine Ep 92 - Shattered Mirror - 22 Apr 1996 2/2 build their own Defiant. Mirror Worf is in this one - he's a blast, as is Nana's (rather sexy) Intendent. Overall, a fun side adventure with some amusing character moments. I wish Voyager had done a mirror ep.

Thanks for the revisit!
Imo Nerys and Worf were the highlight of the mirror universe. Tbh, I believe Nana is great in bringing characters to life. She always feels so natural like this is her, not a character.
I generally don’t like the mirror episodes, never liked them in tos or any series. They are simply too dark for me. But what I love about them is how they show us who is a good actor.
