Notes
- Running fired torpedo count: 43. This contradicts the hard limit set in “The Cloud” of 38.
- Apparently this episode exists because there was a real world fire on the bridge set of Voyager, and they couldn’t film there while it was being repaired. The bridge scenes here were shot weeks later.
- The physical prop for Chaotica’s death ray was a weapon in the forest of Minos in the TNG episode “The Arsenal of Freedom“.
- Chaotica’s throne was previously Odala’s chair in “Distant Origin“.
- The Star Trek Enterprise episode “Cogenitor” makes mention of a sci-fi film called “The Bride of Chaotica”.
- The Chaotica character would make one more appearance in the series after this – Season 7’s “Shattered“.
- Nicholas Worth plays Lonzak here. He and the character would return in “Shattered“. He also played a Lissepian in DS9’s “Progress” and Sorm in DS9’s “A Simple Investigation“.
- Jim Krestalude plays one of the unnamed photonic aliens. He was also one of the background characters in the rescue scene in the start of “Star Trek: Generations“.
