Notes
- Running fired torpedo count: 53 (four this episode, but they were not seen). This contradicts the hard limit set in “The Cloud” of 38.
- The primary guest star here is Jason Alexander who is most known for his role in the cast of Seinfeld. Alexander also voiced the character of Counselor/Doctor Noum in 23 of the 40 episodes of Star Trek: Prodigy.
- Events from the episode “Timeless” are referenced here.
- Y’Sek was played by Christopher Darga. He was also Kaybok in DS9’s “The Way of the Warrior” and Vorok in Enterprise’s “Unexpected“.
- Saowin was played by Christopher Shea. Shea also played the Vorta Keevan in the DS9 episodes “Rocks and Shoals” as well as “The Magnificent Ferengi“. He was also in two Star Trek Enterprise episodes – “Detained” (as Sajen) and “Cease Fire” (as the Andorian Telev).
- The Think Tank ship is composed out of Neutronium – the same material that the planet killer was made out of in “The Doomsday Machine“.
- The Vidiians get a shout out here – apparently this group solved their Phage for them. I kind of wish we could have seen them again after that.
- The Borg designation for the Hazari is “Species 4228”.

They can't find a way out until they meet a being named Kuros (Jason Alexander). He's part of a group who exists to solve problems. Has a bit of a "too good to be true"

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Voyager Ep 114 - Think Tank - 31 Mar 1999 2/2 feel to it, despite their surface innocence. There is of course conflict with him when they make an unreasonable request of Janeway. The end was telegraphed a mile away, but I enjoyed Alexander's performance just the same.
