Body and Soul

This Story: Season 7 Episode 7 (production code 255)
VOY Overall: Episode 153
Trek Overall: Story 576, Episode 609
Airdate: 15 Nov 2000
Story by Michael Taylor & Michael Ferdie (concept)
Teleplay by Eric Morris, Phyllis Strong, Michael Taylor, & Michael Ferdie
Directed by Robert Duncan McNeill

Notes

  • Running fired torpedo count: 67.  This contradicts the hard limit set in “The Cloud” of 38.
  • The fourth and final episode of Voyager directed by Robert Duncan McNeill (Tom Paris).  He would go on to direct four of Enterprise as well.
  • Ranek was played by Fritz Sperberg.  He was also a Jem’Hadar in the DS9 episode “One Little Ship“.
  • Marva Hicks reprises her role as T’Pel – Tuvok’s wife (albeit as a hologram). She previously had appeared in “Persistence of Vision“.
  • Jaryn was played by Megan Gallagher.  She was also Mareel in DS9’s “Invasive Procedures” & Nurse Garland in DS9’s “Little Green Men“.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Voyager Ep 153 - Body and Soul - 15 Nov 2000 2/2 but the real joy here was watching Jeri Ryan act like Robert Picardo. She does a damn good job at that; I very much enjoyed this episode. B plot is about Tuvok going through Pon Farr, which probably deserved its own ep.
