Notes

  • Running Decon Gel Scene Appearances: Trip (1), T’Pol (1) – none this episode, although a few were mentioned.
  • The Klingon ship is a reuse of the older K’Tinga class model.  There is a whole article about this on Memory Alpha here.
  • The first time we see holodeck technology (in universe, obviously not in real life).
  • Tucker’s uh “fun” with a female engineer is brought up again in “Oasis“.
  • Ah-Len is played by Julianne Christie.  She was (rather recently) Dexa in the Voyager episode “Homestead“.
  • Vorok is played by Christopher Darga.  He was also Y’sek in Voyager’s “Think Tank” and a different Klingon (Kaybok) in DS9’s “The Way of the Warrior“.
  • Trena’L is played by Randy Oglesby.  He’s also well known for playing Degra in ten episode of Star Trek Enterprise’s third season – the Xindi arc. He was also Kir in Voyager’s “Counterpoint“, the scholar/artist in Riva’s chorus in TNG’s “Loud as a Whisper“, Ah-Kel & Ro-Kel in DS9’s “Vortex“, and Silaran Prin in DS9’s “The Darkness and the Light“.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Enterprise Episode 5 - Unexpected - 17 Oct 2001 2/2 but... it ends up with Trip "pregnant". Which of course doesn't stick, but does make for some funny scenes. Not a particularly good ep, a fairly cornball concept. Did like the appearance by the Klingons at the end tho.
