Lolani

This Story: Episode 2
Trek Overall: Not canon, so no official count.
Airdate: 8 Feb 2014
Teleplay by Huston Huddleston and Paul Bianchi
Story by Vic Mignogna & Huston Huddleston
Directed by Chris White

Notes

  • The main guest start was Lou Ferrigno, who was “The Incredible Hulk” in the TV series of the same name in the 70’s.  Amusingly, he was green in that series too.
  • First appearance of Erin Gray (Buck Rogers), who plays “Commodore Gray”. She will appear a few other times in the series.

An original story that deals with the concepts of sexism and slavery - very much in TOS's wheelhouse of "message episodes". It involves the green Orion slave girls in a way that I wasn't expecting. The end pic.twitter.com/wTzuyIosx2

had a twist I wasn't expecting. Lou Ferrigno is here - he's still green (hulk smash) - and fun. I got so into watching this I forgot to write about the second half. This is a damn great original story. pic.twitter.com/MPJs9bsRcN
