Good as Gold

This Story: 2012 Blue Peter Contest Winning short
Overall: Not an episode as such, no story count.
Airdate: 24 May 2012
Written by Children of Ashdene School
Directed by Saul Metzstein

Notes

  • This is a Blue Peter competition winner, similar to the previous year’s “Death is the Only Answer”.  It was written by school children.
  • The original airing was on a Blue Peter episode on 24 May 2012.  It was later released on home video.
  • It aired in-between “The Doctor, The Widow, & The Wardrobe” and “Asylum of the Daleks“.
  • Good as Gold was included on the UK edition of the Complete Doctor Who Series 7 box set from 2013. It is not included in the North American version.
  • Admin Note: This post was actually published at 17:07 on 11 Sep 2013, but I had to change the date to make it fit in line with the airing order on the site index page.

A Blue Peter contest winner. Written by children, this short scene was meant to be connected to the 2012 Olympics. Features a weeping angel, Amy, & an Olympic torchbearer, it's a cute little scene. pic.twitter.com/uaO4BHMJ7b
