Notes

• There is a remastered version of this episode, but I will be using the original version.
• The butler was originally going to be Graham Chapman, but he proved too ill at the end of his life to do this gig.
• Young Dave Lister was played by Emile Charles – Craig’s real life cousin.
• There’s a line where Kryten defines a pub as “A meeting place where people attempt to achieve advanced states of mental incompetence by the repeated consumption of fermented vegetable drinks”.  That line always reminded me of the old Saturday Night Live bit – “The Coneheads”.
• Sabrina Mulholland–JJones was played by Koo Stark – who at this point was the most famous guest star in Red Dwarf.
