A Bird in the Hand

This Story: Series 1 Christmas Special
Airdate: 24 Dec 1993
Written by Peter Tilbury
Directed John Birkin

Notes

  • This was obviously produced as part of Season 1’s production block as everything feels like Season 1’s episodes.  It however aired as a Christmas special in 1993, going out on Christmas Eve.
  • This is the final episode for the following kitchen staff: Lucinda, Piers, Otto, & Lola.

The 93 Xmas special is part of S1, but aired much later. It's Christmas time, and due to a late decision to open for Christmas, the ep is Gareth & Janice running around trying to get turkeys for the Christmas menu after pic.twitter.com/UXDLuWKzfD

firing a previous supplier. Most of this ep is spent outside the restaurant, only the end of it is in the kitchen. The ep ends with some nice personal stuff with the kitchen staff. They're all gone in the next ep tho. pic.twitter.com/wF65b6MXyF
