Notes

  • The last appearance of the Bolian barber “Mot”.  He did have another scene in the episode “The Chase“, but it got cut.
  • The only time in the entire series that Riker takes the conn.
  • Data’s “Ode to Spot” poem later appeared in the episode “A Fistful of Datas“.
  • The episode ends with the aliens escaping into our universe, but it is never followed up on, similar to the end of the episode “Conspiracy“.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek TNG Ep 131 - Schisms - 19 Oct 1992 2/2 poem to his cat originates here - "Ode to Spot" - it's funny as hell. The alien part of this is kind of weak - I rather liked this ep up until they showed up, actually. Wish it had a better ending, but overall I enjoyed it.
