Notes

• The first episode of Season 3.
• The first episode to bear the series name “Star Trek: Enterprise”.  Prior to this the series was just named “Enterprise”.
• The first episode to have the modified version of “My Heart Will Go On”.  This version will remain the theme through the remaining episodes.
• The first episode in the season long Xindi arc.  It technically started in the Season 2 finale, and finishes in the third episode of Season 4, but the vast bulk of it is contained within Season 3.
• As such, we see most (but not all) of the Xindi race introduced here as well as the MACOs on Enterprise.  Nearly all of these will reoccur at various points in the season.
• In universe, six weeks have passed since the events of the last episode.
• T’Pol gets her new red outfit in this episode which she wears for the most of the rest of the series.
• The outfits for the Xindi-Reptilian were actually Reman outfits from Star Trek: Nemesis reused.
• The first episode with Trip & T’Pol’s “nero pressure” sessions – which I guess replaces the old decon gel scenes for “Hey, Jolene Blalock is hot” stuff we have to have, apparently.
• Kessick is played by Richard Lineback.  He was also Romas in TNG’s “Symbiosis” & Selin Peers in DS9’s “Dax“..
• An unnamed alien foreman is played by Stephen McHattie.  He was also the Romulan Vreenak in DS9’s “In the Pale Moonlight“.
• The Xindi-Primate councilor was played by Tucker Smallwood.  It is his first of 9 appearances this season as this character.  He was also Admiral Bullock on Voyager’s “In The Flesh“.
• The first of 10 appearances of the character Jannar, played by Rick Worthy.  He was also automated units 3947 & 122 in Voyager’s “Prototype“, Klingon Kornan on DS9’s “Soldiers of the Empire“, an Elloran officer in Star Trek: Insurrection, crewman Noah Lessing in “Equinox” and “Equinox, Pt II“.
• The first of 10 appearances of the character Degra, played by Randy Oglesby.  He was one of the chorus in TNG’s “Loud as a Whisper“, Ah-Kel & Ro-Kel in DS9’s “Vortex“, Prin in DS9’s “The Darkness & the Light“, Kir in Voyager’s “Counterpoint” and Trena’L in the episode “Unexpected“.
• The first of 8 appearances of the character Dolim, played by Scott MacDonald.  He was also N’Vek in TNG’s “Face of the Enemy“, Rollins in Voyager’s “Caretaker“, and Goran’Gar in DS9’s “Hippocratic Oath“.
• Corporal Romero was played by Marco Sanchez.  He was also in “Star Trek: Into Darkness” as an unnamed torpedo officer.
• The first of three appearances of Corporal Chang.  He was played by Daniel Day Kim.  Chang was also Gotana-Retz in the Voyager episode “Blink of an Eye“. He’s done a lot of things, but I also know him well as John Matheson, one of the primary cast on the Babylon 5 spin off series, “Crusade“.
• The first of two appearances of Sgt Kemper.  He was played by Nathan Anderson.  He was also Namon in the Voyager episode “Nemesis“.
• The first of five appearances of Major Hayes.  He was played by Steven Culp.  Culp was also Martin Madden in Star Trek: Nemesis.  He was supposed to be Riker’s replacement as first officer, but all of Culp’s scenes were deleted from the final version of the movie.
