Trek Overall: Story 590, Episode 625

Notes
- Running fired torpedo count: 79. This contradicts the hard limit set in “The Cloud” of 38.
- A working title for this episode was “Destiny”, but had to have another name as DS9 already had an episode with that title.
- This is the eighth and final episode of Voyager directed by LeVar Burton. In total he directed 2 episodes of TNG, 10 of DS9, and will direct 9 of Enterprise.
- Much of the crew in the hallways at the end of the episode was Voyager production people and crew.
- The last time we see Talaxians (other than Neelix) in the series. Neelix appears on screen once more in the finale.
- The final appearance of Scarlett Pomers (Naomi Wildman) in the series.
- The first time in the franchise they celebrate “First Contact Day” – something that pops up again in newer series.
- The events of the episode “Tuvix” are recalled here.
- Oxilon (a Talaxian) was played by Rob LaBelle. He played a different Talaxian (unnamed prisoner) in “Faces“. He was also Kafar in “False Profits“.
- Dexa was played by Julianne Christie. She was also Ah’len in the Enterprise episode “Unexpected“.
- In the opening scene, there is a party celebrating “First Contact Day”. It has a jukebox that plays old rock and roll music, echoing the Troi is drunk scene in First Contact.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Voyager Episode 169 - Homestand - 9 May 2001 2/2 being a prisoner. It's a good emotional story for him whether to continue to Earth or stay with his own kind. He eventually stays after a really nice final scene departing Voyager, especially from Tuvok. Enjoyed this.
