Notes

• Running Decon Gel Scene Appearances: T’Pol (3), Trip (2), Hoshi (2), Malcolm (1), Archer (1), Porthos (1).  There is one scene with Archer in a decon chamber, but no gel, and he was fully clothed, so I’m not counting it.
• The third in the Vulcan/Andorian conflict arc – not quite sure what to call this, as it doesn’t have a formal “title”.
• The tactical alert created by Reed that was talked about a few episodes back is finally seen in this episode.
• The first time we see a female Andorian in all of Star Trek.
• She is named Tarah, and was played by Susie Plaxon.  Plaxon has appeared a few times in Trek before.  She was the Vulcan Doctor Selar in TNG’s “The Schizoid Man“.  She was K’Ehleyr (Worf’s mate) in TNG’s “The Emissary” & “Reunion“. She was also a female Q in Voyager’s “The Q and the Grey“.
• The third of ten appearances of Jeffrey Combs as Shran in the series.  Combs was numerous characters on TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT, & LD.  But he’s probably most famous for various Weyouns in 27 (I think that’s the right count) on DS9.
• The fourth of eleven appearances by Gary Graham as the Vulcan Soval.  He was also Tanis in Voyager’s “Cold Fire“.
• The eighth of fourteen appearances by Vaughn Armstrong as Admiral Forrest.
• The Andorian Telev was played by Christopher Shea.  He was also Sajen in “Detained“, Sawn in Voyager’s “Think Tank“, and the Vorta Keevan in DS9’s “Rocks and Shoals” & “The Magnificent Ferengi“.
• Shea also appeared in the same DS9 ep as Combs (“The Magnificent Ferengi“), although Combs was playing the Ferengi Brunt at the time.
